Customer Service Representative

Salary: £30,000 a year
Position: Full-time, 12 month fixed-term contract, leading to permanent position
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Location: Lytham St Annes (Hybrid Remote/Office)
Closing date: 5th April 2023

We have a fantastic opportunity for a professional, confident and organised individual with a strong customer service background.

About the role

Here at Get Work, customer success is incredibly important to us. We work with small businesses throughout the UK that rely on our service to grow.

You’ll be responsible for onboarding, supporting and retaining customers as their point of contact.

Your role will be to welcome new customers on board, helping them to understand how our service works, as well as nurturing them into mature customers. You will need to manage expectations throughout this process and build rapport to aid retention and uncover sales opportunities.

You’ll work collaboratively across departments to address problems and work towards solutions; ensuring processes are completed correctly and customers are provided with regular updates.

You will be expected to deal with inbound enquiries through email, phone and chat.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will be a professional, confident and organised individual with a strong customer service background. They will be an excellent all-round communicator with the ability to lead and control conversations. They will be well versed in digital marketing principles and have a passion for helping small businesses. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

Essential skills

  • 2 years experience in a customer service role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable with strong time management and organisational skills
  • Amazing levels of active listening, empathy, and resilience
  • Superb rapport building skills
  • Passionate, energetic, and proactive attitude
  • Experience of working to and achieving KPIs

Desirable skills

  • Experience within the digital marketing industry
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and search engine marketing
  • Working with SMEs/SME background

Please note: that if you are successful for the role, then there will be a two-week training session, which you will be required to attend in the office for the first two weeks.

Get Work is a digital marketing service that helps tradespeople find local customers.

Our service uses search engine marketing to generate local sales leads for tradespeople; and we provide a management platform to help nurture those leads into paying customers.
